Cornerstone Leadership C3 invests significant time in coaching leaders (Business Owners, Partners, CEO’s, Presidents, Executive Directors, Senior Managers).
Leaders who commit to an individualized process realize increased awareness and higher leadership functioning within their organization and families. The customized coaching process attends to the client’s desired focus areas and workable timeframes for meeting. Challenges of geography or scheduling may result in coaching sessions by phone or Webex meeting format.
All sessions are strictly confidential and the person being coached identifies the primary areas for work with the coach.
Experienced coaches provide questions of depth and insightful listening that helps the client fully own their growth in maturity. A clients’ commitment to functioning in new ways brings increased clarity, connection and courage to their key relationships.

Teams
Experienced teams or those adding new members will achieve greater synergy when the team engages in a common leadership design. Developing common language and understanding for managing issues within the many relationships that form as a natural part of working together is vital for promoting higher levels of collaboration.
A team’s work with Cornerstone Leadership C3 will strengthen relationships within the team and provide skills to more effectively develop direct reports.
The C3 Team program involves:
- Interviews (confidential) with each team member utilizing pre-determined questions and assessment tools to understand leadership improvement needs
- Summarized leadership assessment report of the current state of leadership in the organization with identified next steps for the organization.
- Design & implementation of a leadership development process that typically includes group sessions and the opportunity for individual coaching.
Cornerstone Leadership Course
Based on the cutting edge theory of how individuals function in relationship developed by Murray Bowen. The course, delivered in a highly interactive and challenging way, brings Bowen concepts to the work place.
The finest research on achieving highly functioning relationships as a leader is presented utilizing in-room coaching concepts of ‘live’ issues to drive learning to a high level.
The course can be offered in half or full day increments based on the client’s needs.
Family Business
A family business reflects the same highs and lows of normal family living. Emotional process issues impact family members and the family business on many levels and in many ways. Working with a Cornerstone Leadership C3 coach who has experience in the family business setting benefits both the family dynamic and the business by:
- Promoting open, candid and responsible conversation on sensitive issues
- Equipping family members and non-family member mangers with leadership & relationship management skills
- Assisting in leadership succession planning & life plans outside of the business
- Providing an outside, trusted voice to assist family members in seeing “blind spots in leadership” and identifying a plan to address them.
Non-Profit Organizations
The leadership excellence of the president, executive director, chief administrator and the Board of Directors is a focus of work offered by Cornerstone Leadership C3.
Governance work utilizing the concepts of ‘policy based governance’ becomes a place where the work of the board is crystallized and the functioning of leaders in the system is elevated.
